ZeroBaseOne demonstrated overwhelming popularity in Japan. Oricon released its latest chart on the 31st (dated November 4th), and ZeroBaseOne’s concert video ‘2024 Fan-Con in Japan Blu-ray & DVD’ topped the charts.
ZeroBaseOne ranked first in the ‘Oricon Weekly DVD Ranking’, ‘Oricon Weekly Blu-ray Disc Ranking’, and the ‘Oricon Weekly Music DVD·Blu-ray Disc’ rankings. They achieved the highest record of the year. It is the first time a foreign artist has simultaneously achieved a triple crown in the weekly video rankings on the Oricon chart, proving their local popularity.
The Blu-ray & DVD contains performances of 11 songs in total. It also features games in which ZeroBaseOne members interact closely with their fans, truly appealing to the fandom. Particularly, ‘Yurayura -Unmei no Hana-‘ (ゆらゆら -運命の花-), a popular song, dominated the top spot in the Oricon weekly singles, weekly combined singles, and monthly singles rankings upon its release.
ZeroBaseOne elicited an explosive response with their debut in Japan. Their first single (‘Yurayura -Unmei no Hana-‘) rose to half a million seller status only a week after debut. That’s not all. In March, they received the ‘Double Platinum’ certification based on shipment volume.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan awards this certification to works that achieve shipments of over 500,000 copies. They received the ‘Double Platinum’ certification based on March shipment volume. The members recently released the new Japanese original song ‘Only One Story’.
It was used as the opening track for the animation ‘Pokémon’, proving their influence. Meanwhile, ZeroBaseOne will hold the 2024 overseas tour ‘TIMELESS WORLD’ from November 29th to December 1st in Aichi and on December 4th to 5th in Kanagawa.
