Singer Yugyeom has demonstrated global popularity with his new song. Yugyeom released a new digital single "Sweet Like" on the 18th. On the 19th, it topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in Brazil and Thailand on the global music streaming platform.
It ranked 2nd in Fiji and Sweden, 3rd in the Philippines, and appeared on the iTunes Top Songs charts in nine regions, including Singapore, Indonesia, Peru, and Hong Kong. It also entered the Worldwide Top Songs chart.
"Sweet Like" is Yugyeom's first new song in 10 months. It's an R&B pop song featuring an amapiano-style bassline and house rhythm. Vernon from "Seventeen" participated in the songwriting.
The music video features Yugyeom and dancer Lian. Their pair dance is notable. The two showcased hip dance lines with rhythmic steps and turns.
Meanwhile, Yugyeom has been touring eight regions, including Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Sydney, from October until this month, as part of the "TRUSTY" tour. He will attend a countdown event in Hua Hin, Thailand, on the 31st.
