Seventeen has entered the comeback countdown. A portion of their new song was revealed for the first time.
On the 7th, Pledis Entertainment uploaded the highlight medley of Seventeen's 12th mini-album 'Spill the Feels' on the HYBE Labels YouTube channel.
The video has a duration of about 3 minutes and 28 seconds. The melodies and lyrics of all the tracks from the new album were unveiled. Six tracks, including the title track, group, and unit songs, captivated listeners.
The title track 'Love, Money, Fame' is an R&B hip-hop song. It features a groovy, addictive melody with harmonious vocals and vintage sounds.
Among various emotions, it takes 'love' as its theme. Seventeen's sincerity towards love is expressed in lyrics like 'But only want you', 'Your one love is enough'.
The group song 'Eyes on You' is a house genre track with a lively beat. It was a collaboration with British producer Shift K3Y, exuding a refreshing charm.
Another group song '1 TO 13' expresses Seventeen's determination and promise about love. It unfolds a melody where warmth and energy coexist under a cheerful rhythm.
The three unit songs showcase a wide musical spectrum. The vocal team performed 'Candy', which has a cozy mood, and the performance team sang 'Rain', with its dreamy synth sound.
The hip-hop team performed 'Water'. Lyrics like 'I am still thirsty' reveal their aspirations. The new release was filled with new songs highlighting the units' distinctiveness and capabilities.
Through this album, they have demonstrated their 'self-producing' skills once again. Woozi, leading the charge, along with S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Dino, and others, participated in writing and composing all the songs.
According to the agency, "It is expected that listeners will be able to encounter the honest emotions of the members, conveying a message of 'trusting each other, sharing emotions, and resolving concerns.'
Meanwhile, Seventeen will release 'Spill the Feels' at 6 PM on the 14th. On the 12th and 13th, they will kick off the world tour 'Right Here' at Goyang Sports Complex.
