Mega Public Service stated, "As a result, no new courses will be produced after the 2025 exam," adding, "However, existing courses can be purchased and registered until October 31 of next year."

Accordingly, Jeon's instructor homepage will still be accessible until the announced period, but the learning Q&A board will not be operational.

Mega Public Service announced that to minimize any inconvenience and harm to students who were taking Jeon's courses, they will purchase Korean history lectures from other instructors and provide them to existing Mega Pass examinees.

On the same day, Jeon also shared his retirement news through his online media outlet 'Jeon Hal-gil News'.

He stated, "As of today, I will be stepping away from the podium. I would like to thank all my students who have been with me until now."

He continued, "Following my political remarks, several critical opinions and complaints arose in my cafe and at my agency (Mega Public Service). I felt very sorry for my staff and fellow instructors. I also did not want to put a burden on the agency, so in February, we mutually agreed to terminate my teaching contract."

Regarding his future plans, Jeon announced, "I plan to focus on running Jeon Hal-gil News."
