Seo Jeong-wook, lawyer, conveyed the current situation of former President Yoon Seok-yeol and First Lady Kim Kun-hee.
On the afternoon of the 9th, lawyer Seo appeared on MBC Radio's "Kwon Soon-pyo's News High Kick" and explained in detail the circumstances of the former presidential couple.

Seo stated, "When I saw former President Yoon at the time of his departure from the party (May 17), he seemed quite optimistic and healthy, but I felt sorry for (Kim Kun-hee) as she appears to be struggling mentally."
He reported that former President Yoon is confident in his trial, asserting "I am 100% innocent" and "the witnesses’ statements are nonsense."
When the host expressed surprise, asking, "Does he really believe he is innocent?" Seo emphasized, "He truly believes so. It's sincere." He added, "In the past, when I defended MB (Lee Myung-bak), he also said, 'I'm 100% innocent, so don't worry.' Although a guilty verdict was returned, it seems that kind of mindset is necessary for someone to be a president."
"Truly so. It's sincere."
Clarification about the Han-nam-dong residence swimming pool controversy
Regarding the recently controversial use of the swimming pool at the Han-nam-dong residence, Seo expressed his views as well.

He explained, “I have visited the residence several times, but I have never seen a dog swimming there.” He added that it was made small as landscaping because the King of the United Arab Emirates was visiting, and it appeared too empty.
Seo further mentioned, “I asked junior colleagues who had worked in the residence for a long time if they had seen a dog swimming, and they said they hadn’t,” speculating, “It likely isn’t a place for dogs to swim.” This statement contradicts claims made by some that the swimming pool was intended for pets.
Health status of Kim Kun-hee and investigative pressure
Seo also expressed concerns about First Lady Kim Kun-hee's health status.
He stated, “I heard that she has difficulties with her health and is also mentally struggling." He suggested that for someone who has never been near a police precinct or a prosecutor’s office, it would be understandably challenging as both the special investigation team and prosecutors were pressing her with summonses.

Seo analyzed that Kim is likely perceiving the investigative pressure as political retaliation.
He remarked, “I believe she has not received anything unjust, but even if she did receive a luxury handbag from Geun-jin Beopsa, would she keep it at home? The search of her private residence is a source of humiliation, and I have heard that she is struggling a lot due to situations like these.”
