Singer Yoon Do-hyun is stepping down as a radio DJ.

On the 13th, Yoon Do-hyun announced his departure from MBC FM4U's '4 PM with Yoon Do-hyun' via his official SNS. He will stop hosting the radio show after the broadcast on the 22nd.

He stated, "When it came time to relinquish something I love and choose a new direction, the psychological burden that had to be endured was by no means light."

He explained the situation when he decided to return to radio after 11 years. He had tried to implement new formats such as seasonal runs and a dual-host system, but they were realistically unfeasible.

In fact, it became difficult to juggle with other activities. He decided to step down as a radio DJ to focus on band YB, creative work, album production, and the musical 'Gwanghwamun Sonata'.

Yoon Do-hyun confessed, "I thought it was disrespectful to the production team and the listeners to keep taking vacations while doing radio, so I made this decision (to step down)."

He continued, "I will cherish the broadcasts during the remaining week," and requested, "Although the radio ends, please continue to watch my active performances on stage."

Meanwhile, Yoon Do-hyun was selected as the DJ for '4 PM with Yoon Do-hyun' in 2022. For the past two years, he connected with listeners, even while battling a rare cancer.
