Scene of the canceled arrest… "Yoon resisted in his underwear"
Earlier, the special investigation team looking into allegations related to First Lady Kim Gun-hee attempted to arrest former President Yoon on the 1st at the Seoul Detention Center, but it was unsuccessful. According to the special investigation team's explanation, former President Yoon resisted arrest by lying on the floor of his solitary confinement cell in his underwear without wearing a prison uniform.
On the 7th, the special investigation team made another attempt, but it also failed as former President Yoon strongly resisted. At that time, his legal team claimed, "The special investigation team used excessive physical force."
Attorney Kim Gye-ri stated, "Former President Yoon tried to drag the chair he was sitting on, and in the process, his waist and buttocks were bumped," and demanded the release of CCTV and body camera footage.

Personnel changes at the Ministry of Justice… Democratic Party claims "Right to know for the public"
Democratic Party members visited the Seoul Detention Center on the 11th to view the footage; however, the then-director Kim Hyun-woo denied their request. On the 14th, the Ministry of Justice conducted personnel changes, transferring Director Kim to the Anyang Correctional Facility and appointing Kim Do-hyung as the new director of the Seoul Detention Center.
On the 19th, Democratic Party member Kim Byeong-joo stated on CBS Radio's "Kim Hyun-jung's News Show," "The process of executing the arrest warrant is not subject to the Personal Information Protection Act as it's a public duty," asserting, "It must be disclosed for the public's right to know."
Kim emphasized, "To show that the rule of law is alive, it must be accurately disclosed."
