Actor Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin have taken on the roles of a show window couple, doubting and guarding against each other. On the 29th, the production team of MBC-TV’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Call You Made’ (written by Kim Ji-woon, directed by Park Sang-woo and Wi Deuk-gyu) released the main poster, capturing the male and female protagonists.
Their unusual married life was hinted at. Baek Sa-eon (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) and Hong Hee-joo (played by Chae Soo-bin) did not seem comfortable even at home. A strange tension was palpable. They looked at each other with crossed glances. Sa-eon, with sharp eyes, was deep in thought while looking at Hee-joo. Meanwhile, Hee-joo turned her head away, focusing her gaze elsewhere.
In another poster, the contrast between the two left a strong impression. Sa-eon stood leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, while Hee-joo sat alone on the bed. The text was also full of meaning. Phrases such as “I thought I knew you well,” and “Maybe what I know about you is not all there is” heightened curiosity.
‘The Call You Made’ is a secret romance thriller, based on a web novel of the same name. The story begins in earnest when the show window couple receives a threatening call. Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin play the roles of a couple in a strategic marriage, cast as Sa-eon and Hee-joo, respectively. They portray a business couple that doesn’t exchange a single word.
The production team urged, “What could have happened to these two who have had no emotional communication for three years? Please look forward to a romance thriller that is far from ordinary.” Meanwhile, ‘The Call You Made’ will premiere at 9:50 PM on the 22nd of next month.
