Yes24 services have partially resumed. It has been five days since the system failure occurred.
Yes24 posted an announcement on its website on the 13th, stating, "The Yes24 book and ticket services have resumed," and expressed, "We apologize for the significant inconvenience faced by everyone due to the service disruption."
Not all services are available yet. Currently, only book and music/DVD purchases, stationery/GIFT purchases, order payments, 1:1 inquiries, and ticket services have been restored.
There are still many services that remain unavailable. These are being restored sequentially. Features like product details, cart/payment processes, my page, unified search, attendance check events, and major services are still blocked.
Compensation measures are being prepared. Yes24 stated, "We are formulating compensation plans for members who have suffered direct damage, as well as for all members and partner companies," adding, "We will inform you via our website and individual notifications once they are finalized after service stabilization."
They also promised to prevent recurrence. "We will strengthen our security checks and system management system, and we will take thorough preventative measures," they emphasized. For related inquiries, customers can use the Yes24 customer service center.
Yes24 has been experiencing a system outage since the 9th. This was due to a ransomware hacking attack that paralyzed the app and communication network. With a customer base of 20 million, it has been five days of inconvenience and anxiety.
