'Red Velvet' Yeri (Kim Ye-rim) is officially starting her journey as an actress, making her screen debut in a high-teen horror film.

On the 9th, the production team of the movie 'Spirit: Ghost Play' (directed by Son Dong-wan) released stills of Yeri (playing the role of Ja-young). She appeared unfazed even in the face of horror.

'Spirit: Ghost Play' tells the story of Ja-young and her friends who, while filming a spirit-summoning video for a competition, end up attempting real spirit-summoning.

Yeri plays the role of Ja-young, the class president of 3rd year class 5 at Gyesang High School. She is the first to agree to the suggestion made by Gi-ho (played by Seo Dong-hyun) to film the spirit-summoning. She represents the mysterious figure chillingly.

Yeri has previously showcased her acting skills in KBS-1TV's 'Applause' and MBN's 'Cheongdam International High School' in 2023. She also shone as Baek Je-na in 'Cheongdam International High School 2', which was released on the 3rd.

'Spirit: Ghost Play' had its world premiere at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival on the 5th and is set to be released on the 6th of next month.
