On the 28th, Mnet revealed the judges for "World of Street Woman Fighter," listing Park Jin-young, Aliya Janel, and Mike Song.
Park Jin-young is an optimized judge. As the head of JYP Entertainment, he has been active in the industry for over 30 years. He has also served as a judge on shows like SBS-TV's "K-Pop Star."
He is genuinely passionate about dance and is fluent in English. With these qualities, he is expected to play a central role among the judges of "World Swoopa."
Aliya Janel is a world-renowned choreographer and a former main dancer for Beyoncé's tour. She has created choreography for songs such as "Dally" and "Wait" by Sistar's Hyorin.
Mike Song is the leader of the dance crew Kinjaz. He has previously appeared as a special judge on "Street Man Fighter" and "Street Woman Fighter 2."
"World Swoopa" is a new series of "Street Woman Fighter," featuring dancers from five countries, including South Korea, New Zealand, the United States, and Japan, competing in a national competition.
A total of six crews will participate: AG SQUAD, BUMSUP, MOTIV, OSAKA Ojo Gang, RHTokyo, and ROYAL FAMILY.
The production team stated, "Since this is a national competition, our mindset while preparing for the broadcast is unique," and urged viewers to look forward to the synergy between the three judges.
Meanwhile, "World Swoopa" will premiere on the 27th of next month at 10 PM.
