Actors Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi return as young boxers. Jung Ji-hoon also joins them. On the 16th, the team behind the Netflix series ‘Bloodhounds’ announced the production of Season 2. Woo Do-hwan (as Geon-woo) and Lee Sang-yi (as Woo-jin) will once again present thrilling action with their bare fists.
Season 2 will depict the story of Geon-woo and Woo-jin, who crushed a group of heinous illegal loan sharks, delivering a satisfying straight hook against a global illegal boxing league. Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi from Season 1 are making a comeback. Woo Do-hwan returns as Geon-woo, a young man dreaming of becoming a boxing champion.
Geon-woo ventured into the world of private loans to pay off his mother’s debt, fiercely confronting the vicious Myeong-gil (played by Park Sung-woong). In Season 2, he engages in a life-or-death showdown against a group involved in global illegal gambling through boxing.
Lee Sang-yi will take on the role of Woo-jin, a sturdy supporter of Geon-woo and a boxer armed with the Marine Corps spirit. He will once again showcase a dynamic and delightful action chemistry alongside Woo Do-hwan. A new face joins the cast as well. Jung Ji-hoon takes on his first villain role in 20 years since his debut, playing the strongest villain, ‘Baek Jeong.’
Baek Jeong is a global villain who draws Geon-woo and Woo-jin into the illegal boxing league, possessing overwhelming power capable of mercilessly destroying even a world boxing champion. He resorts to all means to pull the boxing prodigy Geon-woo into the shadowy league.
‘Bloodhounds 2’ will be released worldwide on Netflix.
