A Bizarre Theft Incident at an Unmanned Store
A woman, estimated to be in her 60s, stole ice cream and snacks in a shopping cart from an unmanned ice cream store in Gwangalli, Busan.
What’s even more astonishing is that this woman casually walked past the store after committing the crime.

According to JTBC's "Incident Report," which aired on the 20th, this incident took place at an unmanned ice cream store in Gwangalli, Busan, in the early hours of the 18th.
In footage released by a witness, a middle-aged woman, appearing to be in her 60s, was seen visiting the store.
The woman, carrying a shopping cart, went towards the freezer and put several relatively expensive ice cream items into the cart before stepping outside, momentarily leaving the cart behind. However, this was just the beginning.
A few minutes later, the woman returned to the store and began to fill the same cart with jelly and snacks.
While a male customer was in the process of checking out, she even asked him about the location of a product, saying, "It looks delicious." Once all the other customers had left, she exited the store without paying, taking the entire shopping cart with her.
That day, the woman took snacks worth about 60,000 won without making any payment.
Witness A stated, "From observing her behavior, it seemed like she had done this before. She looked very skilled."

Bold Actions, Repeated Appearances
What is even more surprising is that six hours after the theft, the woman was seen going back and forth in front of the store with items still in the stolen shopping cart.
According to A, the woman continued to pass by the store nonchalantly several times afterward.
A shared, "At this point, it felt like she was mocking me," expressing disbelief at the woman's audacity.

The witness reported the incident to the police the following day, on the 19th.
Interestingly, after reviewing the store's CCTV footage, the police mentioned, "We think we know who she is."
It was revealed that this woman had already been involved in other incidents.
The police have since arrested the woman and are currently investigating her connection to this unmanned ice cream store theft as well as other related cases.
Recently, due to rising labor costs and increased convenience, unmanned stores have been on the rise. However, the expansion of such unmanned systems presents a new challenge in terms of security.
