The film ‘Listening’ (directed by Cho Sun-ho) has become a box office hit, topping the reservation rate chart.
According to the Korea Film Council’s integrated ticketing network, as of 8 a.m. on the 5th, ‘Listening’ had 48,195 pre-reservations, with a reservation rate of 20.4%, making it the number one among all movies.
It has maintained the top spot in reservation rates for four consecutive days, surpassing Hollywood films ‘Gladiator II’, ‘Wicked’, and the occult film ‘Sahil’ starring Park Shin-yang.
‘Listening’ is a youth melodrama about a man who dives straight into love and a woman who learns to appreciate sincerity, featuring performances by Hong Kyung, Noh Yoon-seo, and Kim Min-ju. Meanwhile, ‘Listening’ is set to be released on the 6th.
