Actor Lee Min-ho returns to the fantasy genre, exuding intense charisma. The movie 'The Perspective of All-Knowing Readers' (directed by Kim Byung-woo) is an apocalyptic action film. It imagines a scenario where the world of the novel becomes reality, depicting a story of struggle to survive in that world.
Lee Min-ho plays the role of Yoo Jong-hyuk, the protagonist of the novel 'Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World.' He is the strongest character within the universe, possessing a unique ability to restart his life even after dying.
He finds it difficult to trust people easily, having developed a cynical personality after navigating through various scenarios. However, he becomes intrigued when Kim Reader (portrayed by Ahn Hyoseop) creates a different unfolding of events.
Lee Min-ho shared, "I pondered a lot about the loneliness of a human living an immortal life," and added, "Since my character is one who constantly battles, I also put in considerable effort into action preparation."
He approached the role with a keen focus. "In order for Yoo Jong-hyuk to appear real, it’s essential for the readers to find the process of navigating through crises in this universe convincing," he explained.
To deliver a more realistic performance, he paid attention to details. Lee Min-ho recalled, "I aimed to keep my gaze, expressions, and movements from being excessive. I wanted to avoid coming off as fake."
Meanwhile, 'The Perspective of All-Knowing Readers' is set to be released next month.
