Dispute Between Apartment Neighbors Started by Parking Conflict
A conflict between neighbors that began over parking issues has escalated to a serious level in an apartment in Daegu.
On the 17th, JTBC's 'Incident Report' shared the story of a woman in her twenties, referred to as A, who is suffering from severe verbal abuse and threats due to a parking conflict with her neighbors.
A stated that on the 4th at around 12:50 PM, she received a call from a neighbor asking her to move her car and headed to the parking lot. The previous night, the parking lot was full, and A had struggled to find a parking spot. At that time, the vehicle next to hers was blocking the parking lines, so A parked closely to the driver’s side to facilitate the other vehicle’s entry and exit.
However, when A met a woman in her sixties, referred to as B, in the parking lot, B immediately asked for A's apartment number. When A hesitated to disclose her personal information, B began shouting and hurling insults.

Feeling threatened, A recorded the situation on her phone and requested an apology, but B began to assert absurdly that “it is an unspoken rule in our apartment to not park when the adjacent space is empty.”
Escalation of Conflict and Psychological Damage
As the situation worsened, A called for the security guard, but it did not help resolve the issue. Terrified, A cried and said, "I don’t know if you think I’m rude. I’m sorry," which prompted B to also start crying.
Furthermore, B called her husband and misrepresented the situation, claiming, "(A) said she won’t let me move my car."
A attempted to communicate through the security guard, but B refused, and when asked if she would consider paying for hospital bills, A responded negatively, causing B to leave the scene.

After this incident, A showed serious anxiety symptoms and was prescribed medication from a psychiatrist.
Upon hearing about the situation, A's father sent a message to B saying, "Isn’t that verbal abuse? I think we need to take legal action. If you don’t sincerely apologize, I will seek legal counsel and respond."
In response, B said, "I need to go to the hospital. I’m in so much pain, and she said she won’t let me move my car."
Two days later, B's husband stated, "I can’t endure this anymore. From tomorrow, I will take action, so if the police contact you, let’s see how this goes," displaying a tough stance.

Even more shocking, B verbally assaulted A, saying, "Your parents raised you to be this kind of monster," and threatened, "It will be hard for you to live from now on. Otherwise, come to me and kneel to apologize. If you kneel and apologize, I will accept it. You stone XXX."
B even went as far as visiting A's father late at night and knocking on the door, causing A's mother to feel so scared that she relocated.
Currently, A has filed charges against B for insult and threats, while A's father has filed charges against B for threats.
