“Who Do You Think You Are to Talk to My Singer?”… 50s Trot Fanclub Scares Away 20s Female Fan

A 20-something Woman Attends a Trot Show, Scolded by Middle-Aged Fan Club Members for Talking to the Singer

A story about a woman in her 20s who was scolded by middle-aged female fan club members for simply exchanging a short greeting with a singer while attending a trot program with her mother has shocked many after it was shared on social media.

On the 19th, A, a woman in her 20s, posted a video on her SNS titled "Young women should never go to trot shows. A story about fighting with fan club bullies."

A revealed that she had obtained tickets to the SBS program 'The Trot Show' for her mother, who enjoys trot music, and went to the filming site together.

Fortunately, A and her mother secured front-row seats and actively cheered for the singers. When A held up a LED cheering sign with her phone, a singer approached and thanked her, which A described as "really just that one word was it."

Persistent Interrogation and Control from Middle-Aged Fan Club Members

Carrying back a good memory, A was later selected to attend MBC's 'Trot Champion' with her mother. However, after the show ended, three women in their 40s to 50s suddenly appeared in front of them as they were about to leave.

They started pressing A, asking, "Are you from OOO (fan club name)? What’s your nickname? Why can’t you speak?" When A tried to ignore them and walk past, they chased after her, saying, "You were at The Trot Show two weeks ago, right? Let's talk for a bit! How can you talk to our singer? Don’t you know that kind of behavior isn’t allowed? Talking to the singer is prohibited!" They scolded A harshly.

Despite A's mother saying, "Just leave it alone," they continued to question, "We are the executives, you know? This is ridiculous. What right do you have to talk to my singer?"

In response, A expressed her anger, stating, "I didn’t talk to the singer privately; it was a greeting from the singer to the audience in the front row. What kind of executive plays the role of a bully?"

She remarked, "There were so many people at the Ilsan MBC, yet I was cursed at and fought with women in red clothes," adding, "I considered calling the police and debated back and forth, but I still feel wronged."

A concluded, "I’m probably their daughter in age, but does a specific singer's executive have the authority to control general audience members? I’m too scared to ever go back again."
