Residents Criticize Children for Graffiti in Playground
Children created graffiti on the floor of a playground in an apartment complex using chalk that washes away easily, which led to a resident criticizing this behavior.
On the 15th, two photos capturing a chat room from the apartment’s community group were posted in an online community with the title "Residents Discontented with Chalk Graffiti in the Playground."
The photos shared in the chat room featured views of the playground taken from a veranda or window of a home.

The playground floor displayed remnants of a joyful time, including drawings for the game 'Ddakttameokgi’ (a Korean jumping game).
The resident who shared these photos began by saying, "I saw the graffiti while taking a walk yesterday, and today I see it has indeed been left uncleaned."
They continued, "What may be tolerable for some can be intolerable for others. Shouldn't public spaces be subject to more conservative standards? Is it really heartless and harsh to ask that traces of children playing in public facilities be cleaned up?"

Four other residents expressed their agreement with this opinion.
The internet user who posted this shared that "the security personnel came out to clean the graffiti after residents complained," adding, "For reference, the chalk washes away when wet, so it would be cleaned naturally by rain."
Most netizens who encountered this story reacted by stating, "It seems they are intoxicated by their own moral and ethical standards beyond stubbornness," "It’s not like it won’t come off, yet they are being overly sensitive," "There are reasons people don't have children," and "Do we need to draw every time we play Ddakttameokgi?"
Meanwhile, on the 16th, thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain are affecting most regions across the country.
