Wendy of 'Red Velvet' has left SM Entertainment and signed a contract with 'Ascend', which is home to 'Fromis_9'.

Ascend announced on the 25th, "We are thrilled to be working with an artist who has proven exceptional capabilities in various fields," and added, "We will do our utmost to help Wendy shine even brighter," confirming the exclusive contract.

Wendy has been beloved as the main vocalist of Red Velvet. Even after leaving SM, she will still continue as a member of the group. Ascend emphasized that "we will actively support Wendy's activities with Red Velvet."
