Weekend Nationwide Rain Forecast, Up to 80mm Expected
On Saturday, the 12th, rain is expected across the nation.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, up to 20mm of rain is forecasted for the Seoul metropolitan area, while southern regions and Jeju Island may see rain amounts exceeding 80mm.
Strong winds are also expected, which will likely cause many blooming spring flowers to fall.
The morning low temperature on the 12th is expected to be between 5 and 13 degrees Celsius, while the afternoon high will reach between 15 and 23 degrees Celsius, which is about 2 to 7 degrees higher than the average (low of 3 to 9 degrees, high of 15 to 19 degrees).
Rain is expected to begin in Jeju from 9 AM to 12 PM and gradually spread nationwide, continuing until the morning of Sunday, the 13th.

Regional Rainfall and Precautions
The expected rainfall by region is as follows: in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and inland/mountain regions of Gangwon, it will be 5 to 20mm; the West Sea Islands 10 to 40mm; and the eastern coast of Gangwon 5 to 10mm.
More rain is expected in the southern regions and Jeju Island.
In the Jeolla region, the southern coast of Jeonnam and eastern inland areas are forecasted to receive 10 to 50mm, while other areas in Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to see 5 to 30mm, and Jeonbuk is anticipated to receive 5 to 20mm of rain.
In the Gyeongsang region, the western southern coast of Gyeongnam and southwestern inland areas are forecasted to receive 10 to 50mm, while Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (excluding some areas) will see 5 to 30mm, and Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Ulleungdo/ Dokdo are expected to receive 5 to 20mm of rainfall. In Jeju Island, areas excluding the northern part are expected to receive 20 to 60mm, with mountainous areas expecting over 80mm.
Visibility below 1km is expected in inland Gyeonggi, inland Jeonnam, and inland Gyeongnam on the morning of the 12th, necessitating extra caution for traffic safety.

Rapid Temperature Drop and Strong Winds on Sunday
On Sunday, the 13th, a significant drop in temperature is expected.
The morning low temperature is forecasted to be between 2 and 9 degrees Celsius, while the afternoon high will range from 11 to 17 degrees Celsius, indicating a decrease of 3 to 5 degrees within a day.
With considerable temperature differences and strong winds, the perceived temperature is expected to be lower than the actual temperature.
In particular, strong winds are predicted to exceed 70 km/h (over 90 km/h in mountainous areas), requiring special attention for facility management and safety.
Health management due to sudden temperature changes should also be considered.
Dust levels are expected to be 'good' to 'moderate' in most areas as rain falls on the 12th.
However, temporary 'bad' levels are anticipated in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungnam in the morning, but conditions are expected to improve in the afternoon due to atmospheric diffusion.
Dust levels on the 13th are forecasted to be 'moderate' nationwide.
