“Wednesday” Season 3 Confirmed… “Revealing More Secrets of the Addams Family”

Netflix has officially confirmed the production of Season 3 of the original series 'Wednesday' (directed by Tim Burton).

On the 24th, Netflix announced on its official site, "This is news that could have been anticipated even without the foresight of a crow. 'Wednesday' has been officially renewed for Season 3."

They further noted, "The decision was made ahead of the Season 2 release. This signifies that the series not only enjoys immense popularity worldwide but also has more stories to tell."

Co-creator and executive producer Alfred Gough stated, "We know that such works are rare. It’s a kind of alchemy that combines script, direction, acting, and fans. We are grateful to continue this journey."

He also teased about Season 3, saying, "We will expand the world of Nevermore Academy and 'Wednesday.' More members of the Addams family will appear, and more family secrets will be unveiled."

Season 1 of 'Wednesday' premiered in 2022 and set the record for the most viewed Netflix series in the English-speaking world. Part 1 of Season 2 will be released on the 6th of next month, and Part 2 will follow on September 3rd.

Meanwhile, director Tim Burton, Jenna Ortega (who plays Wednesday), and Emma Myers (who plays Enid Sinclair) are set to visit South Korea on the 10th of next month to celebrate the launch of Season 2.
