Busan Water Show Incident Involving Unauthorized Police Observation
It has been confirmed that some police officers deployed at the Water Show concert by singer Psy in Busan illegally watched the performance.
According to a report by SBS on the 21st, five female police officers, who were deployed to manage traffic around the concert venue at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium during the two-day 'Water Show' concert that took place from the 15th, were caught illegally entering the venue during their duties.

The 'Water Show' event attracted around 50,000 spectators, and to prevent safety accidents, personnel from the district office and police were heavily deployed for the event.
The police were primarily responsible for traffic management and security outside the concert venue.
However, it was confirmed that the five female police officers assigned to traffic duties disguised themselves as ordinary spectators by wearing windbreakers over their uniforms and entered the venue to watch the concert.
Their unauthorized entry was detected by event staff who noticed they did not have wristbands distributed to attendees.
A police official explained, "I just happened to hear the performance while going to the bathroom during my shift,” but the Busan Police Agency has already recognized the seriousness of the incident and has initiated an internal investigation.

As news of this incident has spread, concerns about the discipline within the police force have arisen.
If police officers responsible for safety management at large-scale events like this neglect their duties, there is a risk of unexpected accidents occurring.
Moreover, unauthorized observation could also lead to charges of fraud, escalating the controversy further.
