The junior group of 'Boys Planet', 'Bunpu Boyz CIIU', has been launched by JYP Entertainment.

JYP's China branch, 'JYP China', announced on the 26th that "'Bunpu Boyz CIIU' has officially debuted with the release of their first EP 'Our Departure' (我们的出发)."

'Bunpu Boyz CIIU' is a boy group that was created as part of JYP's localization strategy. The name 'CIIU' means "no matter how far, I will reach you."

They are the second local boy group following Voice Story and consist of six Chinese members: Luo Yan, Li Xi Jie, Huang Yuan Jin, Bai Yuan Hao, Wang Tian Yi, and Liu Zhe Heng.

'Our Departure' includes a total of six tracks, featuring the title song 'Summer of Departure'. It represents the boys' youth, courage, and pure hearts aimed towards the future.

'Summer of Departure' is characterized by its refreshing guitar sound and exhilarating drum beats. The line "In this moment, let's set off without hesitation" expresses a commitment towards their dreams.

Their debut song has garnered significant attention. 'Summer of Departure' ranked 6th on QQ Music's daily popularity chart shortly after its release (as of the 23rd).

The audience's response to their stage presence is also noteworthy. 'Bunpu Boyz CIIU' performed on the '2025 TIMA' stage on the 22nd, singing 'Honey' with producer Park Jin Young.

Moreover, they participated in '2025 TMEA' two days later on the 24th, where they delivered a performance of 'Summer of Departure'. They have embarked on a journey alongside fans in the Chinese-speaking region.

Meanwhile, 'Bunpu Boyz CIIU' will soon present the variety show 'Where Are We Running Today Season 2'. They will also hold a showcase in collaboration with Wanda Group's Wanda Mall.
