Investigation into the Death of a 70-Year-Old Woman While Walking Barefoot at Incheon Beach

A 70-year-old woman died while walking barefoot at Hanagae Beach on Muido Island, Incheon.

On the 28th, the Incheon Coast Guard received a report around 1:42 PM that person A had gone missing at the beach. After receiving a report from the fire authorities that "A, who went out to the beach, has not returned," the Coast Guard immediately deployed airboats to begin the search.

Eventually, person A was found in the water, but in a state of cardiac arrest. The rescued A was transported to a nearby hospital while undergoing CPR, but unfortunately, she passed away.

The Coast Guard suspects that A encountered an accident while walking barefoot and is currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.

Additionally, they are considering the possibility of an autopsy on A's body to confirm whether there are any criminal factors involved.
