V’s Carol, 93rd on Billboard Main… Most Chart Entries Among K-pop Singers

BTS’s V has once again entered the main Billboard song chart in the U.S. According to Billboard’s latest data (as of the 21st), V made it to the ‘Hot 100’ at 93rd place with the carol ‘White Christmas,’ on which he collaborated with Bing Crosby. This marks his third entry into the chart this year.

Previously, ‘FRI(END)S’ ranked 63rd, and ‘Winter Ahead’ was at 99th. He has the most songs among K-pop artists to enter the rankings. It is also his sixth solo song to enter ‘Hot 100’. Starting with ‘Christmas Tree’ in 2022, he previously charted with ‘Love Me Again’ and ‘Slow Dancing’.

The detailed charts are also noteworthy. ‘White Christmas’ ranked 1st in both ‘Digital Song Sales’ and ‘Holiday Digital Song Sales’. It ranked 43rd for ‘Global (excl. U.S.)’. Additionally, it was 65th on the ‘Holiday Hot 100’ and 72nd on the ‘Global 200’. ‘Winter Ahead’ also stood at 17th in ‘Holiday Digital Song Sales’.

Jimin has been on the main chart for 21 consecutive weeks. His second solo album ‘MUSE’ was 128th on the ‘Billboard 200’, and its title track ‘Who’ reached 43rd on the ‘Hot 100’. Additionally, Jin’s first solo album’s title song ‘Running Wild’ ranked 46th on ‘Global (excl. U.S.)’, and Jungkook’s solo single ‘Seven’ was at 85th.
