‘Veteran 2’ Returns in September…”Hwang Jung-min, Box Office Again”

Actor Hwang Jung-min breathes new life into the theaters once again.

The movie 'Veteran 2' (director Ryu Seung-wan) returns to theaters next month. Hwang Jung-min proves his ticket power. He has consistently achieved success even in difficult theater conditions.

When the theater situation hit its worst due to the pandemic, 'Deliver Us from Evil' reminded audiences of the value of 'theater movies' once more. 'Spring in Seoul' brought in 13.12 million viewers through steady word of mouth.

Hwang Jung-min particularly triggered word-of-mouth as Jeon Doo-kwang. He served as a guaranteed box-office draw. This time, he announces a welcome comeback in nine years as Detective Seo Do-chol.

Seo Do-chol is a detective in the Major Crimes Investigation Team. He relentlessly hunts down those who live criminal lives, no matter the circumstances. Once he bites into a case, he sees it through to the end.

'Veteran' previously attracted 13.41 million viewers. In 'Veteran 2,' he tracks a mysterious serial murder case, facing new crises. Hwang Jung-min fills the screen with his unrestrained action scenes.

Hwang Jung-min shared his commitment to the character, saying, "I came back as Detective Seo Do-chol. I wanted to keep the energy and strengths shown in the first film."

'Veteran 2' is an action crime investigation drama. Rookie detective Park Sun-woo (played by Jung Hae-in) joins Detective Seo Do-chol's Major Crimes Investigation Team. Together, they pursue a serial killer who has shocked the world. The movie is set to release in theaters on the 13th of next month.
