
The film 'Venom: Last Dance' (directed by Kelly Marcel) attracted 120,000 viewers on its opening day. According to the integrated computer network for movie tickets by the Korea Film Council, 'Venom: Last Dance' drew 127,648 viewers on the 23rd, topping the domestic box office.
This work is the third and final installment of the 'Venom' series. It tells the story of Eddie and Venom (played by Tom Hardy) racing towards the end of chaos, which might be their last.
The film is expected to continue its box office success. As of 10 a.m. on the 24th, 100,000 tickets had been reserved. The audience rating on CGV's Golden Egg Index was recorded at 83%.
'Ordinary Family' (directed by Heo Jin-ho) was pushed to second place with 20,635 viewers. Despite receiving praise for its delicate psychological portrayal, its total ticket sales were limited to 364,665 viewers.
Ranking third was 'The Laws of Love in a Big City' (directed by Lee Daniel), which attracted 9,857 viewers on the day. Behind it was 'Veteran 2' (directed by Ryoo Seung-wan) with 5,010 viewers.
