BTS's V's carol is receiving immense love from around the world. Billboard released its latest chart (dated December 14) on the 11th (KST), where V's "Winter Ahead" (with Park Hyo Shin) ranked 99th on the main song chart 'Hot 100'. V now owns five solo songs that have entered the 'Hot 100'. He entered two songs this year alone. "FRI(END)S," released in March, also reached 65th on the same chart.
"Winter Ahead" took 1st place on the year-end special charts 'Holiday Digital Song Sales' and 62nd on 'Holiday Top 100'. It is praised for perfectly capturing the winter mood. The song ranked 14th on the 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' and 33rd on the 'Global 200'. It reached the top of the 'Digital Song Sales'. V performed well even among traditional carols.
The outstanding performance of the members was noticeable. Jimin's "Who" reached 47th on the 'Hot 100'. "Muse" was ranked 114th on the 'Billboard 200'. It remained on the chart for 20 consecutive weeks.
Jimin has become the K-pop solo artist to stay the longest on the 'Hot 100' chart in the past ten years. "Who" climbed 9 spots from last week, while "Muse" rose 43 spots. "Who" recorded rankings of 23rd on 'Global (Excl. U.S.)', 24th on 'Global 200', 35th on 'Streaming Songs', and 13th on 'Digital Song Sales'. "Muse" reached 5th on the 'World Albums'.
Jin's first solo album "Happy" remains strong. It charted on the 'Billboard 200' (160th) for three consecutive weeks. It achieved 37th on 'Top Album Sales' and 7th on 'World Albums'. The title track "Running Wild" was ranked 29th on 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' and 52nd on 'Global 200'. Jin's charming voice captivated global listeners.
Tracks from the album also gained steady popularity. "I'll Be There" ranked 167th on 'Global (Excl. U.S.)', and "Until I Reach You" ranked 6th on 'World Digital Song Sales'. Jungkook's "Seven" remained at 80th on 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' and 148th on 'Global 200'. It stayed on the charts for 73 consecutive weeks, proving Jungkook's immense popularity.
