BTS’s V will release a duet song with the legendary pop artist Bing Crosby. V will globally release “White Christmas” at 2 PM on December 6th. “White Christmas” is a famous song released in 1942 and is still loved worldwide today.
The timeless collaboration between V and Bing Crosby is highly anticipated. V has reinterpreted a part of “White Christmas,” expressing his own Christmas sentiment.
Bing Crosby’s song will be re-released 47 years after his last collaboration with David Bowie in 1977. Although numerous artists have covered it, this is the first time a duet version has been released. This collaboration started from V’s long-held respect.
V covered Crosby’s “It’s Been a Long, Long Time” in 2022. He has continued to express his affection for Crosby consistently. Bing Crosby’s representatives responded on their official channel, saying, “We think V will be a wonderful jazz crooner, just like our Bing.”
Meanwhile, V enlisted as an active duty soldier in the army last December. He is currently serving in the specialized military police unit under the 2nd Corps Command in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. He is scheduled to be discharged on June 10th next year.
