Unpredictable Youth… Jo Byung-gyu X Seo In-guk, Starring in ‘Boy’

Actors Jo Byung-gyu and Seo In-guk have teamed up in a youth film. They are coming with the movie ‘Boy.’ Production company Albatross Film announced on the 13th that ‘Boy’ has completed filming. “The film ‘Boy,’ starring Jo Byung-gyu, Seo In-guk, and others, has finished shooting.”

‘Boy’ is a work that combines youth romance and crime. It is set in the fictional city of Pogusi and tells stories about events occurring at the Texas hot springs. Jo Byung-gyu takes on the role of Rohan, a boy who has lived with crime as a routine. He expressed his hope, “I expect a great work to be born, as hot as the filming set was.”

Seo In-guk plays the role of Hatter, the dark leader. He wished for attention to the film, describing it as “a new-feeling movie where the passion and darkness of youth coexist.”

Yoo In-soo plays Rohan’s brother, Kyo-han. He shared his thoughts, “I wanted to take on this role after reading the script. I was thrilled to participate in the filming. Thank you.”

Jinni, formerly of ‘NMIXX,’ took on acting for the first time since her debut through ‘Boy.’ She was cast in the role of Jane, saying, “I was happy with the time I spent with ‘Boy.’”

The direction is handled by director Lee Sang-deok. This is his third work. His previous film ‘Movie Days’ won the work award at the Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival. He pledged his dedication before the post-production work, affirming, “I will work hard to make it a unique film that embodies the heat and darkness of youth.”

Meanwhile, ‘Boy’ is scheduled to be released in the first half of next year.
