A Pause for the Mailbox,
Actor Byeon Woo-seok has become the 23rd star of ‘DIcon’. After a gift-like summer with ‘Run With the Wind’, 2024 has engraved his name. The hottest face has been captured. The title is ‘Pause’. Capturing Byeon Woo-seok in a brief pause before meeting the next face after Sun-jae.
In fact, his everyday life was far from a pause. He was busy with schedules befitting his popularity. However, he wanted to give fans a complete pause. The pictorial was prepared with the hope that people will take a moment to relax at the end of a tiring day, looking at his kind face.
The subtitle is ‘Welcome to the Special’, derived from his initials. Photographer Kang Ji-young documented special moments of Byeon Woo-seok, capturing everything from his most natural looks to surprisingly unfamiliar faces.
Five versions were prepared according to the concept, including a dark leather jacket (Version A), sporty look (Version B), all-black suit (Version C), atmospheric denim on denim (Version D), and a pure shirt look (Version E).
The photo book itself reflects his characteristics. The format was increased by 1.5cm (vertical dimension) to capture his long legs. The overall design was completed by incorporating the mint chocolate color, which Byeon Woo-seok likes.
Behind-the-scenes details of the photoshoot were intimately captured, allowing one to feel his professional moments. It also includes an interview detailing Byeon Woo-seok’s recent activities and heartfelt messages to the ‘Mailbox’ (fan club name).
He shared his serious acting thoughts, saying, “This year was a new turning point as an actor. I hope the next 10 years will be smoother and better than now. I want to become a better person.”
Various perks are provided according to the version. Version A includes a photo card, masking tape with Byeon Woo-seok’s full-body design, and a folding photo card. Version B offers a photo card, an acrylic keyring, and a calendar poster.
Version C includes a photo card, a postcard set with a case containing film photos taken by Byeon Woo-seok himself, and a calendar poster. Version D comes with a photo card, a lenticular mini placard keyring that transforms into three different expressions, and a calendar poster.
Finally, Version E. It includes a photo card, a folding photo card displaying six different facial expressions, and a scratch message card where you can reveal a message by scratching it like a lottery ticket. DIcon will begin pre-sales at 5 PM on the 25th.
