Twice marks the highlight of their large-scale world tour by heading to Nissan Stadium. Twice will host their 5th world tour, 'Ready To Be in Japan Special,' at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan, on the 27th and 28th.
This is the first time a K-pop girl group will fill the spectator seats at Nissan Stadium. Even when expanding the scope to include overseas female artists, it remains an unprecedented event.
Twice has demonstrated steady growth as a global girl group. They took their first step with the debut album title track 'Like OOH-AHH' in October 2015.
They have produced numerous hit songs, gaining popularity with tracks such as 'CHEER UP,' 'LIKEY,' 'TT,' and 'I CAN'T STOP ME.'
Their activities have spanned both domestically and internationally. Last year, Twice received an award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. They also hold the record for the most music videos by a girl group with over 100 million views.
Their achievements in Japan are particularly noteworthy. After debuting with the best album '#TWICE' in 2017, they dominated major charts including Oricon.
They swept local award ceremonies, receiving trophies in various categories of the Gold Disc Awards for three consecutive years. They also won the Outstanding Work Award at the Japan Record Awards.
Their ticket power has been proven. Within a year of their debut in Japan, they launched an arena tour. They were also the first K-pop girl group to conduct a tour at Japan’s three major domes.
With 'Ready To Be,' they showcased the dignity of stadium artists, making return visits to the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka and the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.
Next up is Nissan Stadium. Their agency stated, "Entering Japan's largest stadium leaves a significant mark on their career" and asked for continued support.
