Twice will share the stage with top Japanese artists. They will appear on ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen.’ On the 19th, NHK unveiled the artist lineup for the ’75th Kohaku Uta Gassen’ through its official SNS. Twice will attend as a full group. ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’ is Japan’s representative year-end special program featuring performances by artists loved in Japan throughout the year.
Twice has been invited a total of four times. The entire team appeared from 2017 to 2019 and in 2022. Last year, they participated as the unit Misamo. Upon their official debut in Japan, they swept various award ceremonies, enjoying wins at the Gold Disc Awards and Record Awards, among others.
Their album sales are also noteworthy. Twice set a significant record this past May, surpassing a total combined album sales of 20 million in both Korea and Japan. Their ticket power is also formidable. They became the first overseas female artist to enter Kanagawa Nissan Stadium, performing at massive local venues.
The agency remarked, “Please look forward to Twice’s new year-end stage with their lively discography.” Meanwhile, Twice will release their 14th mini-album ‘STRATEGY’ on December 6th at 2 PM (midnight Eastern Time).
