TWICE has included three stories in their new album: vibe, love, and summer. They have also teased a newly presented unit combination.
On the 4th, JYP Entertainment released a teaser trailer for their 4th studio album, 'THIS IS FOR', on social media. It was created with three-dimensional animation.
The main theme is a train journey with TWICE. It unfolds in chapters titled 'OUR VIBE', 'OUR LOVE', and 'OUR SUMMER'.
At the first station, 'BATTITUDE' by Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, and Mina played. The atmosphere changed at the next station, showcasing sweet and soft vocals.
That's when 'DAT AHH DAT OOH' by Sana, Jihyo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu followed. As hearts break, it seamlessly transitions into 'LET LOVE GO' by Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, and Tzuyu.
They showcased various unit songs like 'G.O.A.T.' by Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung, and 'TALK' by Nayeon and Jihyo, emphasizing freshness with new member combinations.
A world-class songwriting team contributed to the album. Taylor Parks, known for Ariana Grande's hits like '7 rings' and 'thank u, next', participated in the production.
Alongside Parks, Amy Allen, who has worked with Sabrina Carpenter, as well as Julian Bunetta, John Ryan, Dem Jointz, and Baby Tate, all enhanced the album's quality.
The new release contains a total of 14 tracks, including the title song 'THIS IS FOR', five unit songs, 'FOUR', 'OPTIONS', 'MARS', and 'RIGHT HAND GIRL'.
TWICE will release their 4th studio album, 'THIS IS FOR', on the 11th at 1 PM. They will kick off their 6th world tour, 'THIS IS FOR', at the Incheon Inspire Arena on the 19th and 20th.
