TWICE heated up the summer night in Chicago.
On the 3rd of August (Korean time), TWICE performed at the music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' held at Grant Park in Illinois, USA.
They were the only K-pop group to be named as a headlining artist, sharing the stage with pop stars such as Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and A$AP Rocky.
This highlighted their global popularity, with Grant Park filled with their official light sticks, Candy Bong. As they appeared on stage, cheers erupted along with the lights.
TWICE's first performance was their English single 'The Feels.' Following that, they presented hit songs like 'MORE & MORE' and 'What is Love?'.
The live band added to the enjoyment of the listening experience. TWICE showcased a diverse setlist while moving across the expansive stage, drawing applause from the audience with their outstanding skills.
They also performed the OST from the Netflix movie 'K-pop Demon Hunters'. Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung presented the performance of 'TAKEDOWN'.
It felt as if the animated characters Lumi, Joy, and Mira had been brought to life. They also performed 'Strategy,' which appeared in 'K-pop Demon Hunters,' further enhancing the excitement of the show.
TWICE expressed, "'Lollapalooza Chicago' is our first festival stage," and added, "I don’t think we'll ever forget this moment. Thank you for enjoying the performance."
