
TWICE is back. With their new release, they have made their presence known in domestic and international charts.
On the 11th, TWICE released their fourth studio album "THIS IS FOR." According to the Hanteo chart, the album topped the daily album chart on the first day of its release.
They also performed well globally. "THIS IS FOR" debuted at number 2 on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart (as of the 11th). The title track reached number 9 on the Worldwide Song Chart.
The album made it to the top of the iTunes charts in various countries/regions. On the day of its release, "THIS IS FOR" entered the top 5 of the iTunes Top Album Charts in both the United States and Japan.
There has been significant attention on their new release. JYP Entertainment stated, "On the day of TWICE's comeback, they topped the chart as the most streamed girl group on global Spotify."
TWICE has heightened the excitement around their comeback with music show appearances. They made consecutive appearances starting with KBS-2TV's "Music Bank," followed by MBC-TV's "Show! Music Core," and SBS-TV's "Inkigayo."
They expressed, "We were happy to meet ONCE (the fandom name) again on the music show stage after a long time," and added, "We wanted to give our support, but thanks to ONCE's cheering, we received even greater energy."
They continued, "Please enjoy this summer while listening to 'THIS IS FOR,'" and urged fans to look forward to TWICE's new world tour starting on the 19th.
Meanwhile, TWICE will kick off their sixth world tour on the 19th and 20th. They will headline the "Lollapalooza Chicago" stage on the 2nd of next month.
