Two Dead in Unlicensed Drunk Driving Accident in Namdong-gu, Incheon
A collision occurred in Incheon Namdong-gu, where a 20-year-old man was driving a Mercedes vehicle under the influence without a license and crossed the center line, colliding head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
The incident took place around 4:25 AM on the 8th at an intersection near the Guwol 3 Police Station in Incheon Namdong-gu. The Mercedes vehicle driven by Mr. A, 24, invaded the oncoming lane and collided with a QM6 vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Ms. B, a woman in her 60s driving the QM6, was transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away.
Additionally, one of the passengers in the Mercedes, a man in his 20s, also died, while Mr. A and the remaining three passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police investigations revealed that Mr. A was driving without a license and confirmed that he had stated in the hospital that he had been drinking. The police have charged Mr. A with manslaughter under the Specific Crimes Aggravated Punishment Act and unlicensed driving under the Road Traffic Act, and they plan to investigate the precise circumstances of the accident.
A police spokesperson stated, "We will confirm his drinking status through blood alcohol concentration checks" and added, "We plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident."
