Actor Park Hyung-sik captivated attention with overwhelming charisma.
SBS-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Treasure Island' (written by Lee Myung-hee, directed by Jin Chang-gyu) released its first teaser on the 17th. It depicts the tense confrontation between actors Park Hyung-sik and Heo Jun-ho.
In particular, Park Hyung-sik's transformation in acting stood out. He presented an unprecedented dark charm, skillfully portraying everything from a cold, expressionless face to one full of ambition.
His delivery of profound lines was intense, heightening anticipation for his showdown with Heo Jun-ho. Heo first shouted, “There are two trillion won of my money in your head.”
Then, a close-up showed Park Hyung-sik's relaxed expression. He mimed firing a gun with a calm smile, saying, "Bang." He coldly remarked, "Just wait, I’ll come to kill you, you bastard."
The role Park Hyung-sik plays is ‘Seo Dong-joo.’ He is the head of external cooperation in the chairman’s secretarial office of Daesan Group, portrayed by Woo Hyun. Filled with meticulous ambition, he embarks on a revenge mission to take down the absolute evil that killed him.
Heo Jun-ho plays the role of 'Yum Jang-seon,' a former director of the National Intelligence Service and a law school honorary professor. He is the power broker behind the kingmaker and is set to face off with Park Hyung-sik as an epic villain.
'Treasure Island' portrays the revenge story of Seo Dong-joo, a man who hacked into two trillion won of political slush funds. The drama is written by Lee Myung-hee of 'Money Flower' fame and directed by Jin Chang-gyu of 'Military Prosecutor Doberman.'
'Treasure Island' is scheduled to air as the follow-up to 'My Perfect Secretary.' The first broadcast will premiere at 10 PM on February 14th.
