Tours is the only boy group to make it to this year's top domestic YouTube popular songs.

YouTube announced the '2024 Global Culture & Trends List' on the 12th. Tours ranked 6th on South Korea's 'Most Popular Songs' and 4th on 'Shorts Most Popular Songs' with their debut song "First Meeting Doesn't Go as Planned."

The chart targets songs that were released this year or have shown significant growth compared to the previous year (based on domestic views including official music videos, lyric videos, art tracks, etc.).

Tours is the only boy group in the 'Most Popular Songs' lineup. Out of a total of 10 songs, 9 were by female artists. These include QWER's "Indecision Addiction" and Aespa's "Supernova."

Other artists on the list include I-LIT with "Magnetic," (G)I-DLE with "I Hate Being Sick," Rosé with "APT.," NewJeans with "How Sweet," BIBI with "Night Yanggaeng," IU with "Love Wins All," and IVE with "Do It."

Tours stood out among outstanding female artists. Notably, they debuted as rookies in January of this year, achieving remarkable popularity indicators.

Foreign media is also paying attention to Tours. The UK music magazine NME listed "First Meeting Doesn't Go as Planned" as one of the 25 Best K-Pop Songs of the Year. Billboard also ranked it 5th in their '25 Best K-Pop Songs: Staff Picks.'

NME praised the song as "an electrifying yet authentic debut song, evoking the nostalgia of bright and vibrant K-pop boy groups," and added, "It's an irresistible charm."
