'Tours' has been selected as Billboard's K-Pop Rookie of the Month.
On the 27th (local time), Billboard chose the K-Pop Rookie of the Month for January and highlighted Tours, sharing an exclusive interview. Billboard introduced Tours as the most popular K-pop group of the previous year, noting that their debut song "First Meeting Doesn't Go as Planned" topped the Melon Annual Chart in 2024.
The media outlet assessed, "Unlike the usual intense and energetic songs from K-pop boy groups, Tours has attempted a different approach based on the future bass genre."
Member Jihoon expressed, "We are really thankful for the love Tours has received from the start," adding that it is even more meaningful that many people related to their debut song.
In 2025, they plan to expand their narrative. "We want to show how we've grown since that awkward first meeting and how we embrace different emotions. We'll be trying various music styles," they hinted.
Meanwhile, Tours will hold their first fan meeting "42: CLUB" from February 14th to 16th at the Handball Gymnasium in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. All three sessions were sold out through pre-sales.
