Tours (TWS) is returning with a refreshing winter song. On the 18th, Tours unveiled the tracklist for their first single "Last Bell" at 10 PM. The title track is called "Last Festival," and the other tracks include "Highlight" and "Comma,."
The lyricist list for "Last Festival" draws attention, as it includes the name of Seo Taiji, the "Cultural President." Keywords were derived from the hit song of the same name released by Seo Taiji and Boys in 1993. A representative from Pledis Entertainment explained, "The framework of the Seo Taiji song's story was inherited," adding, "It's a narrative about preparing a last festival for just one person before parting ways. It expresses the emotions of youth that resonate across generations."
However, the sound is expected to be completely different from the original. It incorporates the unique emotions of Tours. Reinterpreted in Tours' style, it is made into a refreshing winter song.
Pledis stated, "The members have devoted great effort to enhancing the musical completeness of not just the title track but also the other tracks," adding, "The story of youth gradually growing is intricately woven into 'Last Bell'."
The theme centers on youth facing graduation. It captures a range of emotions felt towards a friend who has always been there. These include a newfound excitement towards the friend, the regret of an impending farewell, and hope for a new future.
Meanwhile, Tours will present a highlight medley of "Last Bell" on the 20th at 10 PM. Following this, on the 21st, they will attend the 'MAMA Music Awards' held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA. Tours will release "Last Bell" on the 25th at 6 PM.
