
Tourus has achieved significant results in Japan.
According to the Japan Recording Industry Association, Tourus received a Gold disc certification for their third mini album, "TRY WITH US," as of the 13th of this month. The cumulative shipment exceeded 100,000 copies in the month of release (April).
The Japan Recording Industry Association grants Gold disc certification based on cumulative album shipments each month, categorizing them as 'Gold' (100,000 copies), 'Platinum' (250,000 copies), and 'Double Platinum' (500,000 copies).
Tourus now holds two consecutive albums with 'Gold' certification, following their first single "Last Bell." They are especially set to make their official debut locally on July 2nd, proving the intense interest from fans.
This album contains stories of youth bravely challenging new experiences. The title track, "Isn't it cool to run along with your heart?" conveys the bright and vibrant energy of being twenty.
It has also performed well on Oricon in Japan, ranking second in both the "Weekly Album Ranking" and the "Weekly Combined Album Ranking" (as of May 5), and fifth on Billboard Japan's "Hot Albums" (as of April 30). Domestically, they swept all music show trophies, winning a total of six awards.
Tourus will actively engage in local activities this summer. They will release their Japanese debut single "Nice to see you again" (original title: はじめまして / Hajime Mashite).
This album is a work that evokes the excitement of everyday life, reminiscent of sparkling summer memories. It showcases the refreshing charm of the members and includes a total of three tracks, including original Japanese songs.
