tvN’s “Run Away with Seonjae” has been selected by Time magazine as the best drama of the year. On the 18th (local time), Time nominated the “Top 10 Best Dramas of 2024,” with “Run Away with Seonjae” (written by Lee Si-eun and directed by Yoon Jong-ho and Kim Tae-yeop) ranking first.

The media analyzed, “Byun Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon acted across two timelines, spanning their teen, 20s, and 30s, delivering emotion to the audience with their genuine performances.” The music was also highly appreciated, with a comment that “in a melodrama, the soundtrack is crucial for elevating viewers’ emotional catharsis,” and that “Byun Woo-seok’s song ‘Shower’ was particularly effective.”

Time praised the drama, stating, “Even without a massive budget, the drama boasted a great and well-constructed storyline, which is ultimately the most important element.”
