Two High Schools in Incheon Receive Bomb Threat Fax, Students Evacuate Urgently
A situation has arisen where bomb threat faxes were received at two high schools in the Incheon area, prompting an urgent evacuation of students.
According to the Incheon Police Department's Anti-Terror Unit, at around 10 a.m. on the 29th, a report was received via 112 that a fax stating "a bomb has been placed" was sent to Gajwa High School in Seo-gu and Ganghwa High School in Ganghwa County.

The two schools that received the threat fax immediately took safety measures.
In consideration of the students' safety as a top priority, both Ganghwa High School and Gajwa High School decided to send all students home as a swift response to the serious situation of the bomb threat.
Police Search Result: No Explosives Found, Investigation into False Threat Underway
The Incheon police conducted a thorough search of both schools immediately after receiving the reports. So far, it has been confirmed that no explosives were found.
A police official stated, "The special forces have entered a state of readiness, but have not been deployed," adding, "We believe this is a case of false bomb threats that have been occurring recently."

The police report that this incident shows a similar pattern to the false bomb threats that have been occurring across the country recently.
Nonetheless, in order to ensure the safety of students, patrols near the two schools have been intensified, and a meticulous investigation into the exact circumstances of the bomb threat is underway.
Particularly, this incident is under investigation for potential connections to a previous occurrence on the 28th, when bomb threat faxes were received at seven high schools in Seoul, causing some schools to suspend classes.
