Through the agency, the members shared their thoughts on the release, first impressions of the title track, the significance of the new album, and messages for CARATs.

S.Coups expressed, “Nine years have passed in the blink of an eye. It feels like we have come this far to release the 12th mini album,” showing his confidence by adding, “I think our albums are always filled with SEVENTEEN’s own genre and sincerity.”

‘SPILL THE FEELS’ is a song that captures SEVENTEEN’s positive energy.

It conveys a message of trusting and sharing emotions with others to resolve worries.

It’s a relatable story completed with trendy music.

Wonwoo explained, “When discussing the album with the members, many keywords came up.

Among them, the keyword ‘comfort’ stands out the most,” adding, “We included our wish for CARATs to receive comfort, gain strength, and find happiness.”

Even before the release, it has been drawing great popularity.

According to the album distributor, SEVENTEEN’s new album boasts nearly 3.5 million pre-orders, indicating CARATs’ passionate interest in SEVENTEEN.

The title track is ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME’ (feat. DJ Khaled).

Jun said, “Since it’s a genre we haven’t tried recently, I’m excited to show a new side of us.”

Wonwoo shared his first impression of the song, saying, “It felt different from the music we’ve shown so far,” and added, “I feel that this song will show a new charm of SEVENTEEN.”

Lastly, Hoshi promised, “I will do my best to present a wonderful album and stage, as much as you have been waiting and anticipating for us.”

Woozi expressed affection by saying, “SEVENTEEN’s sincerity is always directed towards CARATs.”

Q. Thoughts on releasing the 12th mini album

S.Coups: Nine years have passed in the blink of an eye, and we’ve come to release our 12th mini album. I think our albums are always full of SEVENTEEN’s unique genre and sincerity. We prepared this album with CARATs (fandom name) in mind.

Hoshi: I am so grateful that we can release albums like this every year. It’s very meaningful to be able to keep growing and record ourselves each time.

Woozi: As always, we focused on telling our story while working on the 12th mini album. We hope for a lot of anticipation and interest in this new album that captures SEVENTEEN’s moments now.

Q. Message you want to convey through this album

S.Coups: The 12th mini album ‘SPILL THE FEELS’ contains a message of sharing and resolving various emotions honestly and hoping to move towards a bright future with a healthy mind. We worked on it hoping many people would listen to it and express their feelings healthily.

Wonwoo: Many keywords came up while discussing the album with the members. Among them, the keyword ‘comfort’ comes to mind first. We tried to include our hope that CARATs receive comfort and strength and find happiness through the album.

The8: I always think it’s important to convey our meaning through good music. I hope the songs included in the album can be a source of strength for someone.

Q. To whom or in which situation would you recommend listening to the 12th mini album?

Jeonghan: It’s good to listen to it anytime, anywhere. If our songs can give you strength, that alone would make us happy.

Jun: It would be nice if people who need infinite love listen to it. We put a lot of love for CARATs and worked hard to convey that love.

Seungkwan: Rather than recommending to a specific person or situation, I hope this album makes people or situations/moments come to mind as you listen. I hope it becomes an album like a perfume.

Q. First impressions of the title track ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)’

Joshua: First of all, the music was really good! I felt it was an easy listening song that you can easily enjoy, and I think it’s a song that will have no divided opinions.

Jun: It was a genre of music we haven’t tried recently, so I was very excited to show a new look. Please watch us enjoy the stage as well.

Wonwoo: It felt different from SEVENTEEN’s music we’ve played so far. I feel that this song will show a new charm of SEVENTEEN.

Vernon: It felt a little different from SEVENTEEN’s previous title tracks. I’d say it had a relaxed vibe. I thought I want to express well this mood of the song.

Q. Desired reactions to the new album

Joshua: I would be happy if CARATs enjoy our album alone. I hope these songs become part of the happy memories CARATs will create.

Dokyeom: I want to show that we are a group that continually showcases developing albums and a team that can do various music endlessly. We were more attentive to recording to make CARATs feel like, “SEVENTEEN has grown again.”

Dino: I want to garner reactions like “SEVENTEEN still has much to show” and “I’m looking forward to the albums they’ll release in the future.” I did my best for that.

Q. Describe the 12th mini album in one word

Hoshi: ‘Us now.’ It’s an album expressing what SEVENTEEN feels now.

Mingyu: ‘Packed with passion!’ It’s an album that all the members made together energetically.

Seungkwan: ‘New yet same SEVENTEEN.’ ‘LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)’ has a slightly different vibe from the previous work ‘MAESTRO.’ It means a new challenge for us, and within that, we want to show our unique energy.

Q. Highlights of the ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR,’ which started on the 12-13th

Dokyeom: We’re ready to show SEVENTEEN’s vibrant, fun, and energetic sides fully. We’ll work hard to make you think “SEVENTEEN is as expected!”

Dino: While the previous tour showed grand performances, the new tour includes stories in each chapter. We hope you focus on those stories.

Q. What would you like to say to the fans?

S.Coups: I hope this album brings happiness to CARATs. Always thankful and love you.
