The 29th Busan International Film Festival revealed selected works for two sections. The festival's secretariat announced the selections for the "Korean Cinema Today-Special Premiere" and "On Screen" sections on the 26th. Each section will feature five films and six drama series respectively for the audience.

"Korean Cinema Today-Special Premiere" is a section that premieres the latest and representative works of carefully selected Korean commercial films. The chosen films are "Reveal: The Child Who Closed His Eyes," "A Normal Family," "Bogota," "Don't Touch the Dirty Money," and "Hearing."

Firstly, "Reveal: The Child Who Closed His Eyes" is a thriller. It depicts the complicated and intense case of a murderer and detective who reunite due to a bestselling author's murder. Kim Min-ha and Choi Hee-seo star in the film.

"A Normal Family" is a new suspense film directed by Hur Jin-ho. Seol Kyung-gu, Jang Dong-gun, Kim Hee-ae, and Soo Hyun take on the leading roles. They are expected to deliver a seamless tension with their solid performances.

"Bogota" is set against the backdrop of Bogota, Colombia. It tells the story of Koreans involved in the smuggling business. Song Joong-ki, Lee Hee-jun, Kwon Hae-hyo, Park Ji-hwan, Jo Hyun-chul, and Kim Jong-soo form the cast.

"Don't Touch the Dirty Money" is another anticipated work. It is the directorial debut of Kim Min-soo, who wrote the screenplay for "The Merciless." Jung Woo, Kim Dae-myung, and Park Byung-eun play the main roles.

Lastly, the youth film "Hearing" is also notable. The Taiwanese film of the same name has already gained great popularity in Korea. Hong Kyung, Noh Yoon-seo, and Kim Min-ju deliver a warm and beautiful story.

"On Screen" is a section that previews the most anticipated drama series. This year, it will present a rich lineup of four Korean and two international works that are slated for release.

The selected works include "After Parting," "The Spotlight is Mine," "Good or Bad Dong-jae," "Gangnam B-side," "Hellbound" Season 2, and "One Week Before I Die."

Meanwhile, the 29th Busan International Film Festival will be held from October 2 to 11 around the Haeundae Busan Cinema Center.
