Kim Dae-ho, an announcer from MBC, has expressed his intention to resign.

On the 1st, MBC stated, "We are discussing the resignation procedures with Kim Dae-ho. However, it is difficult to confirm the exact date of resignation or future plans."

The day before, Kim Dae-ho shared the news of his resignation on MBC's 'I Live Alone.' During a discussion with Kian84 and Lee Jang-woo, he mentioned, "I told the company that I am resigning."

He continued, "It's been about 14 years since I joined MBC. I take pride in having worked diligently. Though work has become busier and there have been challenges, I'm now over forty. I feel that if I don't initiate change now, I might miss the chance."

He also shared the reason for his resignation. "There are various reasons. It's not about 'quitting the company,' but I've always pondered 'how I might live a different life.'"

He further added, "Thankfully, an opportunity arose. So with confidence that this would be the last fun moment, I decided to resign. It's the last timing to take the reins of my life."

Kim Dae-ho reflected, "While working at MBC, I've lived with a sense of indebtedness. There was a strong sense of repaying what I've received. After covering the Paris Olympics, I felt that 'I've done everything I could at the company,' which made me feel at ease."

Kim Dae-ho was selected through 'Our Sunday Night-New Employees' in 2011 and joined as the 30th announcer. In 2022, he gained attention by showcasing a rural life outside of Seoul through the YouTube channel 'Newsanhani.'

Since 2023, he has been active in variety shows, showcasing his entertainment skills in programs like 'I Live Alone.' In 2023 and the previous year, he received the Rookie Award and the Entertainer of the Year Award & Grand Prize at the 'MBC Entertainment Awards.'
