Actors Niel, Donghyun, Yoon Eun-oh, Hong Sung-won, Yoo Tae-ul, and Park Joahyun transform into pets. The musical "The Time of Dogs and Cats" opens on the 21st. It returns for its third season after four years, following its previous runs in 2020 and 2021. With a delicate story, it aims to communicate with audiences once again.
"The Time of Dogs and Cats" portrays the relationship between humans and animals. It depicts the journey of a black dog named "Raptor" and a black cat named "Pluto" as they solve various incidents together and come to understand the world. They have nothing in common except for their fur color. However, as they spend time together, they share their stories. Gradually, they open their hearts and understand one another.
The narrative conveys the world from the perspective of pets. It captures the connections shared by different beings and the beauty that blooms from those interactions, reflecting on the true meaning of empathy with the audience.

Donghyun, Yoon Eun-oh, and Hong Sung-won take on the role of Raptor. Although he appears as a strong and fierce large dog, he possesses a warm interior. He teaches Pluto interesting facts about humans and engages him in play.
Niel, Yoo Tae-ul, and Park Joahyun portray Pluto, a curious character. However, having grown up on the streets, he feels averse to human contact. He begins to learn about humans gradually through his encounters with Raptor.
The direction is led by Son Ji-eun, known for works such as "Hedwig" and "The Re-examination of Othello." Joining the production for the first time, he provides a fresh interpretation of the piece. Music director Oh Seong-min returns for this season after participating in the 2021 revival. Choreographer Lee Hyun-jeong, who was part of the original production, also rejoins, promising to enhance the play's completeness.
Meanwhile, "The Time of Dogs and Cats" is scheduled to meet audiences until August 10.
