Singer Younha's hit song "Event Horizon" will be included in high school textbooks.
C9 Entertainment announced on the 6th, "The lyrics of the title track "Event Horizon" from Younha's 6th album repackage will be included as a literary text in the common Korean language 1 and 2 textbooks of Chunjae Education's 2022 revised edition next year."
The textbook features creative application questions such as "the situation the speaker in the work is facing and the speaker's attitude," and "based on the contents and the meaning of the title 'Event Horizon,' what aspects of your life can be distinguished by an event horizon."
It was also compared with the classical poem "A Long Winter Night." "Event Horizon" is the title track from the 6th album repackage released in 2022. Younha wrote the lyrics herself.
Using a concept from astrophysics, it expressed the theme that parting is also a new beginning. After its release, the song gained popularity once more and topped major music charts.
This year marks Younha's 20th anniversary, and she is actively engaging in music and performance activities. On the 1st, she released her 7th full album "Growth Theory" and is currently promoting the title track "Sunfish."
"Sunfish" is a rock genre song. Its lyrics convey the message that it is enough to follow the path that one believes to be right, rather than the standards or evaluations of others.
