Noise Issues with Neighbor Intensify Conflicts
Recently, a story about a neighbor suffering from noise issues, presumed to involve a man and woman in their 60s, was posted on an online community.

The author, referred to as A, expressed, "It's not even an issue of floor noise, and as time goes by, I'm getting increasingly stressed, so I've decided to post this."
A continued, "I don't know their exact age, but seeing a daughter occasionally visiting with her elementary school-aged son makes me think she's in her 60s. Initially, I understood that she lives alone and sometimes opens her front door to cook, even though it was a bit uncomfortable."
However, A reported that they began hearing a rough voice and witnessed a man coming in the evening and leaving quietly in the morning.
As months passed, the situation worsened. A mentioned, "From 5:30 AM, they leave the front door open and talk loudly. It's relentless; I have to close the windows because I can't stand the noise. One day, while I was having coffee, I heard strange sounds and opened the window to find two people openly engaging in inappropriate actions."

A added, "I was so shocked that I closed the window, but whether they noticed or not, things quieted down a bit. However, those sounds still occur periodically."
Ultimately, A stated, "I’ve resorted to wearing headphones all the time, but I can’t do that 24/7. Hearing those sounds unexpectedly drives me insane."
A complained to the management office, but they responded, "There's nothing we can do about that," and looked at A with bewildered eyes. A reflected, "I felt completely disheartened and questioned what I was even saying. I feel terrible in many ways," and requested, "While floor noise is bothersome, if anyone knows how to deal with such unreasonable and inconsiderate neighbors, please let me know."
Netizens responded with a variety of reactions after hearing the story. Some suggested, "Call the management office every time you hear noise and ask them to check on the elderly lady, who seems very unwell," "Call the police," "You should shout at them to close their windows," "Leave a note for them," and "Why is their window open? It's bothersome." Another netizen shared, "I had a similar issue with my neighbor, and after reporting it to the police, the noise stopped completely."
